TrainingLink is a free directory of UK personal trainers, built for people who feel unsure about hiring one. You write your own profile, publish it when you're ready, and clients message you privately. There's no approval queue and nothing to pay.
Already use TrainingLink to look for a trainer? Log in and you can add a trainer profile to the same account.
What you'll fill in
Five short sections, saved as you go. Your profile stays hidden until every required section is complete and you choose to publish.
Section 1: The basics
Your name, a short introduction and an 'About me' in your own words.
Section 2: Where you train
The town or city you're based in, whether you coach in person, online or both, and the venues or areas you cover.
Section 3: How you coach
Your specialties, your coaching style, who you work best with and what a first session involves.
Section 4: Experience
Years working as a trainer, plus any qualifications. These are shown as self-reported.
Section 5: Pricing
A starting price and what it covers, with room for notes on blocks or introductory sessions.
What becomes public, and what stays yours
Everything in your profile is public once you publish. Your account details never are.
On your profile page Public. Shown on your profile once you publish
- Everything on your profile: name, photo, introduction, about, location and areas, format, specialties, coaching style, experience, qualifications and prices.
- Your profile page and a share image for it, once published.
We ask for venues and areas, not your home address. Anything you type in 'areas' is public.
Never shown to clients Only you. Never shown to clients or visitors
- Your email address. Clients message you through the site, and you reply from your inbox.
- Your password, notification setting, drafts and anything you haven't published.
You describe yourself. We say so.
TrainingLink doesn't verify qualifications, so profiles label them as self-reported and we never show vetted or verified badges. There are no reviews, ratings or rankings to compete over. Clients see what you've written, in your words, and decide whether to get in touch.
Only list qualifications you hold, and expect clients to ask about them and your insurance before you start.
