Energy for one, understanding for the other
How you'd train together
One of you brings the enthusiasm; the other brings the questions. Together that can make sessions both enjoyable and thoughtful, as long as the trainer can switch between a cheer and an explanation.
Where you might want different things
One of you wants to feel good; the other wants to understand why it works. Long explanations may drain the energy, while constant cheering may feel like noise. A trainer who keeps the detail short and the mood warm suits you both.
What to look for in a shared trainer
- Lists a supportive or technical coaching style and says how they adapt to two people
- Mentions technique or tracking progress, and talks about keeping sessions enjoyable
- Describes how they check in between sessions and review progress with each of you
Trainers on TrainingLink describe their own style. Browsing by style is a starting point, not a guarantee.

A light-hearted starting point for choosing a coaching approach, not a scientific personality test. Preferences change, and that's fine.
